Hello! This is my story.

Julia is a DEI advocate and champion for allyship and LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace. Over her previous 5 years working at Goldman Sachs, she led various initiatives to support women and the LGBTQ+ community. Most notably, she co-led and co-founded Goldman’s Pronouns Initiative: a global, firm-wide campaign focused on education and awareness around gender identity and pronouns. 

A native New Yorker, Julia received her Bachelor’s in Law and Society from American University, and will be pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration at the London Business School in the Fall of 2021.

During this course, we’ll cover everything from understanding the key moments in U.S. LGBTQ+ history to breaking down the LGBTQ+ acronym, learning more about sexual orientation and unpacking gender identity. We’ll also discuss to the importance of pronouns and how we can all use them to foster more inclusive workplace environments, and the different ways we can all create inclusive workplace cultures for our LGBTQ+ colleagues through allyship, providing you with tools and applications to practice active allyship each day.
